hi! i'm clarote, designer and illustrator from brazil. i am the design and art consultant at coding rights and also freelance in berlin, where i live.

in the past years i have focused on projects developed in the intersection of technology and social-environmental justice, gender and their intersectionalities, having collaborated with organisations such as superrr lab, disruption network lab, simply secure, coding rights, ashoka germany, algorithmic justice league, heinrich böll stifftung and kampnagel.

i hold a BA in design, Esdi-UERJ (school of design in the state university of rio de janeiro), where i have also dedicated myself as a researcher at the design and anthropology lab. as a researcher, i investigate codesign processes as as platforms for activism and debate on emerging socio-political issues.
